A house and studio nestled into a canyon setting in the North Park neighborhood of San Diego.

The house integrates into the natural topography of the canyon while allowing its natural elements to infiltrate its spaces.
This is achieved by dividing the house into two massing elements, with a slim light shaft courtyard running through the middle.
